Testing before purchase
Diamond wire saw cutting service
For unfamiliar materials or tight specifications, test cutting can reduce risk before selecting a diamond wire saw machine, wire diameter, coolant method, or fixture concept.

When cutting service is useful
A test cut is valuable when the material is expensive, brittle, layered, unusually shaped, or new to the buyer's process. It gives practical evidence for cut speed, edge quality, wire wear, coolant behavior, and fixture needs.
Information to prepare
- Material name, hardness, brittleness, and whether coolant is allowed.
- Workpiece dimensions, target cut path, and drawing if available.
- Required tolerance, surface quality, kerf width, and chipping limit.
- Quantity, production rhythm, and whether the goal is service cutting or machine purchase.
From test cut to machine choice
After a test, the same parameters can guide a machine quote: travel range, wire type, fixture, cooling, automation, and safety enclosure. For direct support, contact Ensoll's engineering team.
